DESCRIPTION:Find out how artist Nico Williams got into beading and hear about his stunning beaded sculptures. Then learn introduction techniques to peyote beading by following a simple bullseye pattern to make a sparkling beaded triangle.  This program is organized in collaboration with the American Indian Community House.\nFor kids ages 8+ and their adult companions. Online registration opens Monday\, October 30\, at 10:00 a.m \nNico Williams has a multidisciplinary\, often collaborative practice that is centered around sculptural beadwork. His sculptures are sometimes highly patterned abstract geometric forms\, sometimes sparkling representations of familiar objects\, and always hand-woven from hundreds of glass beads. Williams is a member of Aamjiwnaang First Nation (Anishinaabe) and lives and works in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal\, Canada. \nRegister Online
