Bill Lynch is a district elementary school currently serving students in grades K-5 as well as in 3-K and pre-Kindergarten (pre-K) programs in building M153. M153 is located at 1750 Amsterdam Avenue\, New York\, NY 10031 in Community School District 6\, referred to as District 6. Bill Lynch is currently co-located with P.S. 153 Adam Clayton Powell (06M153)\, referred to as P.S. 153\, a district elementary school serving students in grades K-5 as well as in 3-K and pre-K programs. M153 also houses the Community Based Organizations (CBOs) Boys and Girls Club of Harlem\, Harlem Dowling\, and The Harlem Hellfighters. \nIf this proposal is approved by the Panel for Educational Policy (PEP)\, Bill Lynch will expand to serve\ngrades K-8 as well as 3-K and pre-K programs. DESCRIPTION:Find out how artist Nico Williams got into beading and hear about his stunning beaded sculptures. Then learn introduction techniques to peyote beading by following a simple bullseye pattern to make a sparkling beaded triangle.  This program is organized in collaboration with the American Indian Community House.\nFor kids ages 8+ and their adult companions. Online registration opens Monday\, October 30\, at 10:00 a.m \nNico Williams has a multidisciplinary\, often collaborative practice that is centered around sculptural beadwork. His sculptures are sometimes highly patterned abstract geometric forms\, sometimes sparkling representations of familiar objects\, and always hand-woven from hundreds of glass beads.
