DESCRIPTION:It’s Book Fair Time! \nThe PS153 Parents Association (PA) is thrilled to announce our upcoming Book Fair! \nThis year\, we are excited to partner with Word Up Community Bookshop\, a local neighborhood bookstore right here in our district. By shopping this fair\, you aren’t just finding great new books for your children—you are also supporting a local small business and our school community! \nWhen & Where\nDates: Wednesday\, January 28th – Friday\, January 30th \nLocation\nPS153 Book Nook \nShopping Schedule \n\nAfter Drop-off: Parents are welcome to stop by and shop the fair immediately following morning drop-off.\nDuring the School Day: Students will have the opportunity to visit the fair and shop with their class at a scheduled time.\nAfter School: The fair will remain open after school for parents and students to shop together and pick out a new favorite read.\nCurl-up With a Good Book Day! Save the date on Friday 1/30 for special events to celebrate our great books!\n\nWhat’s New This Year?\nWe are making this fair our most inclusive one yet! \n\nExpanded Spanish Selection: We will have a much larger variety of Spanish-language books available for all reading levels.\nRaffle & Story Time: We will be hosting a Book Fair Raffle and a special Parent Story Time! Details on times and prizes are coming soon—stay tuned!\n\nPayment Information\nPlease note that because we are working with a local vendor this year\, there will be no eWallet option. \n\nAccepted Payments: Cash and Credit Cards only.\nSales Tax: Please remember that sales tax will be added to all purchases.\nSupport Your PA: A portion of all sales goes directly toward supporting the PA budget and our student programming throughout the year.\n\nPlease note that the PA is exploring an online payment option – more details to come. \nVolunteers Needed!\nWe need your help to make this event a success! We are looking for parent volunteers to help students navigate the fair during the school day and assist with after-school shopping. \nSign-up online.
